When we do the application

Your long-term satisfaction with our service and products is very important to us.  Our products are manufactured from industrial-rated quality ingredients and therefore we confidently offer our clients a 3-year guarantee that the product will not peel or crack, providing that the underlying structure is solid, and crack-free.  

After three years, you can rest assured that no teething problems will ruin your investment.  If treated correctly, this product will provide you with a clean and easy-to-maintain pool for many years. Our guarantee is not an indication of expected life span, but like all normal guarantees, ensures peace of mind that you will have free support to overcome any product or application related problems for a considerable time after application.

Our unique 4-layer epoxy system is rolled on by hand due its thickness. This ensures deep penetration and strong bonding with the substrate.  Our specialized industrial primer will penetrate, saturate and seal the surface with a solid layer.  The first top-coat applied on a still tacky primer "fuses"" with the primer coat to ensure a strong bond between top-coats and primer.  Three top layers are applied. This four-layer system provides maximum protection against reverse osmosis and staining.

Our product is also acid and chlorine resistant. Normal HTH swimming pool chemicals may be added directly into the pool without voiding our guarantee. We advise strongly against using Bioguard, Blue52 and PoolBrite which contains high levels of copper and which have been reported to stain the epoxy coat. Please use HTH drifter packs which have have been tested with the epoxy coating to offer the easiest method of maintenance.

This guarantee relates to installations undertaken by Dynamic Solutions 111 Business Trust, trading as Pool Solutions. This guarantee does not cover the quality of workmanship by independent dealers and applicators of our products, who are independently responsible for the workmanship guarantees offered by them to end-clients.

Approved dealers have a back-to-back product replacement guarantee with us in the unlikely case of a product related failure.

Please note that black and charcoal colours contain higher percentages of pigments. These colours are available on request, but we cannot guaranteed these darker colours against noticeable chalking or uneven bleaching over a period of a year or less. A residue might be visible on the soles of the feet after the swimming pool was used.

Limited guarantee against reverse osmosis:

Water pressure penetrating the pool structure from the outside may occur due to hidden structural porous qualities.

We will always evaluate the structure before application of the epoxy coat to the best of our ability to determine if it is a risk for the applied epoxy layer. If the structure seems to leak water from the outside inwards on a large scale, while the pool is empty and during the sanding and preparation process, we will not apply an epoxy coat and advise the client accordingly. This can however not be foreseen in all cases and on 1-2% of swimming pools coated, we have experienced reverse osmosis after a few weeks or even months. The result is the appearance of small 3mm-5mm bubbles to appear in isolated areas of the pool due to heating of the hidden moist by sunlight. This will nowmally only appear on the steps or along the top 500mm of the top edge of the swimming pool.

In 99% of reverse osmosis cases, this does not pose a serious problem regarding the integrity of the coating as the small bubbles will stay intact for many years. For the perfectionist, this might however be a visible irritation at close inspection. Normally the bubbles wil stay intact for many years, still offering an esthetically pleasant appearance in general. If the customer can't live with it, we offer our topcoat epoxy at a 50% discounted price as a DIY kit to existing customers (no profit intent). We can even refer an experienced worker that may be contracted privately to sand the affected area to remove the bubbels and re-apply two additional top-coats to further strengthen the coating and restore it again to near-perfect appearance. Should the client require an installation team to re-apply the top-coat layers, labour will be charged at a 50% reduced rate and the material at a 50% discount.

DIY Applications

In the unlikely event of a DIY application failure and subject to the conditions listed below, we will replace the epoxy product required for the repair of the coating free of charge in case of a product-related failure. We guarantee the product against the failing conditions listed above, provided that the quality checklist and photos as requested on the last page of our application instructions was filled out, signed and faxed, posted or emailed to us within 21 days of the purchase. (Please keep the proof of your purchase and documents sent to us.) We will file your quality checklist and photos for future reference.

We guarantee that the products supplied are sampled from the same bulk-manufactured batches that are used for our own applications and therefore conforms to the exact same standards.  Each bulk-manufactured batch is date-coded and indicated on our packaging.  The same four-layer system is applicable and the exact same well-tested application methods are clearly set out in our step-by-step application instructions.

Small bubbles forming due to reverse osmosis (seen in a small percentage of swimming pools), we offer a 50% discount on epoxy materials required to apply additional top layers to strengthen the existing epoxy coat.

Please ensure that you have read our application instructions carefully to avoid costly mistakes. The last two pages (quality control checklist) of the installation instructions must be completed and send to us within 21 days of purchase together with the pictures required to validate this guarantee. This is required irrespective of who the applicator was, and is applicable to all DIY purchases.

Conditions of Sale

• This guarantee will only be valid if the pool was filled with water after at least 3 days of hardening time. (7 days during cold weather and winter months.)
• The client takes responsibility for the swimming pool on the day that our team has finished their application work. 
• Any damage that may occur to the newly applied coating, the swimming pool and/or any accessories during the curing time and thereafter will be at the client's expense.
• Once the product has cured and the swimming pool filled as prescribed, our normal 3-year guarantee comes into effect relating to the performance of our coating.
• Any damage by accident, malicious or due to the use of hard objects in the swimming pool might be repairable, but will be at the client’s expense. 
• It is the responsibility of the client to ensure that the pool is kept dry during the hardening period to prevent discoloring or incomplete hardening of the epoxy.  Any water accumulated in the pool should be removed as soon as possible.  The pool may be entered on bare feet after 12 hours of drying time. Under normal weather conditions, the coating should nor be damaged by rain after 6 hours of curing time.
• New pools with a concrete or cement-plaster surface should have a solid and dust-free finish for best results.  Any peeling of the product due to low quality and/or porous cement or marble plaster coming loose from behind the epoxy layer, will not be covered by the guarantee.
• We do not guarantee your swimming pool against cracks or structural deficiencies, leaking or any other problems not related to the epoxy pool paint. The pool paint is sold as a decorative finish and will not keep the structure of the swimming pool intact.
• Any cracks that are filled-up and smoothed in preparation for the application of an epoxy pool paint, are merely a preparational task and is not guaranteed that it could not crack again due to structural instability of the swimming pool.
• The product can be applied on fibreglass linings provided the underlying lining is still solid and intact everywhere.
• Damaged fiberglass linings can be removed at additional and separately payable costs quoted.  Any unexpected structural deficiencies or unsuitable conditions underneath the fiberglass layer may proof to be unsuitable for the application of an epoxy coat, any repairs to the structure, if required at this stage will be quoted additionally before application of the epoxy coat.
• Our product is stain-resistant to the degree that normal HTH chlorine and swimming pool acid can be added directly to the pool by prescribed product methods. Two10Blue has been tested as a algea killer and water cl;arifier.
• We do not guarantee against staining if other untested products.
• Bioguard and Blue 52 and Poolbrite have been reported to stain or create yellow staining.  Please use normal 4in1 HTH drifter packs and/or HTH Chlorine which have been tested with the product.  You will need less strong chemicals to maintain your pool with the epoxy coat.
• We do not replace the water or offer refunds for water loss.
